A $500 waitlist fee is required once your waitlist placement is approved and confirmed. This deposit secures your position on the waitlist and is applied toward the final purchase price of your capybara.

Families who choose to welcome a pair of capybaras receive a $1,000 pair discount. We offer this because capybaras are highly social animals and often benefit from having a compatible companion, especially when two capybaras grow, play, rest, and adjust to their new home together.

Adopting two capybaras is not required. However, when a family is properly prepared for a pair, having a familiar companion can help make the transition into a new environment more comfortable. If you are considering adopting two, please mention this in your inquiry so we can discuss availability, compatibility, timing, and the needs of your home.
